ERASMUS DAY 2025

By Zoe Christodoulidou-Bosko

On October 15, our school celebrated Erasmus Day! Our students had the opportunity to be part of the Erasmus program, and this year we welcomed some students from Latvia and Sweden. This day was dedicated to opening up to new cultures and meeting people from other countries.

Some Year 6 students participated in the Erasmus program and had the chance to get to know the exchange students better. They created various new friendships in just one day and had an amazing time getting to know each other through fun interactive games and conversations!

An honorable mention goes out to Mrs. Tonia, one of our dedicated teachers, who pleasantly surprised the school by performing traditional Greek dances, joined by a few selected students! Her aim was to bring everyone together through dancing and to show the exchange students how warmly we welcome guests. It was a very successful performance, as almost the entire school joined the circle to dance. It was fun and memorable!

The Erasmus program overall offers many different opportunities for students all around the world. It allows everybody to expand their knowledge of different cultures while also creating friendships we never expected — that’s the magic of it!
